Nutritious Meals for HBCSD Families with Summer Harvest!

Posted Date: 6/13/24 (6:00 PM)

We are excited to announce a new partnership with Summer Harvest—Food for Kids, which will offer Huntington Beach City Elementary School District (HBCSD) families access to nutritious meals this summer.

Summer Harvest is a local, volunteer-driven nonprofit that provides nutritious meals to families, especially during school breaks. Last summer, they distributed over 50,000 pounds of groceries, including fresh produce, pantry staples, helpful recipes, and cooking demos. With community support, they also provide backpacks filled with essentials before the start of the school year. For more information about the program, please visit the Summer Harvest website (
