  • Distance Learning begins on Monday, March 30, 2020. 
  • Students should check in with their teacher every day Monday - Friday. 
  • Teachers will be available to students to answer questions and give them support Monday - Friday. They will articulate their schedules to students via their usual communication platfrom. 
  • Teachers and Parents need to ensure students are practicing good Digital Citizenship at all times. 
    • Please respect student and teacher privacy by not recording, photographing, posting about lessons/teachers/students online.

UPDATE: Packet Distribution (Posted 3.25.20)
Please note that daily enrichment packet are no longer available for pick up from Peterson ES. Instead, week-long packets of grade level specific enrichment activities were made available to families yesterday (3/24) at Sowers MS. We will have one additional day of packet distribution at Perry ES tomorrow (3/26) from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m. at Perry Elementary School (19231 Harding Lane). 
Ungraded Enrichment Activities (posted 3.19.20)
All HBCSD students are encouraged to engage with the following grade level specific ungraded enrichment activities. The activities are found in folders by date through March 27, 2020. Each day, packets for that day's activities will be available for pick up at Peterson ES (20661 Farnsworth Lane) from 11:00 a.m. - Noon.  
HBCSD will move towards distance learning for our students starting on March 30, 2020. Next week, we will gauge our community's access to a computer/device with WiFi/Internet access to support our students' continued learning. This curriculum will be grade level specific and developed by our teachers.
