Dyslexia Awareness Month - October 2019

Dyslexia Awareness Month is designated by the International Dyslexia Association annually in October in order to encourage staff members, families, and the community to collaborate to raise awareness and understanding in so much as to identify, treat and prevent problems associated with dyslexia in order to ensure success for every student with dyslexia.

Extended Kindergarten Program 2019-20

HBCSD is proud to offer the Extended Kindergarten program once again at Perry Elementary School. Class will begin on February 3, 2020 through the end of the school year. Please click the link to view the flyer and for information on how to register.

ASCON Project Communication (Click Here)

As of June 6, 2019, the ASCON project has been collaborating with community stakeholders to improve safety practices as part of the landfill project. DTSC is responsible for ensuring that communities are safe from environmental hazards. Huntington Beach City School District’s first and foremost responsibility is to ensure the safety of our students and employees.

Notice Of Public Hearing - Trustee Area Maps

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Trustees of the Huntington Beach City School District at a Board meeting to be held at 6:00 p.m. on November 12, 2019, at the District Office located at 8750 Dorsett Drive, Huntington Beach, will conduct a public hearing to receive input on the revised maps in addition to a Public Hearing on requesting a waiver for the election process of the transition.
