School Readiness Program

HBCSD, jointly, with the Orange County Children’s Commission has actively worked together since 2000 to provide early care and education opportunities to meet critically important early childhood development needs and maximize potential and success in school. The following personnel work collaboratively to ensure the programs’ success:

Jenn Kinkel – School Readiness Facilitator / Early Learning Specialist

Joseph R. Perry Elementary – x2335

(714) 963-2606

The purpose of the School Readiness Liaison / Early Learning Specialist role is to build relationships to ensure communication with outside agencies providing early care and education, early intervention, health, and family support services to children from birth through age 5 (0-5); with parents of children from birth through age 5 (0-5) not yet participating in their local school district’s activities; and with district early primary teaching staff.
Our Learning Link Program will have a later start date for the 2013-14 school year.

We will update the links below as information becomes available.
